Adults
How
to choose ski, and boot sizes: Skis:
The adult ski has decreased in length due to the new 'carve'/'cut' shapes.
On the pre-registration form, in order to determine your correct ski size, indicate
your ski level as well as your height in centimetres. If you are looking for a
particular size of ski, mark this in the box 'ski size'.
Boots: Indicate your usual shoe size following the European Standard
(36,37,45etc.).For your convenience we have also converted the Salomon shoe sizes,
US, GB, MSS (Mondial Size System): see the in-store chart. If necessary, your
foot will be measured to accord a more accurate fit. |
Juniors,
and Children: Skis: To calculate the price Intersport
has simplified the task : the categories are defined by age. Junior category (under
13 years) Childrens category (under 8 years: going by the childs age as of from
the first day of rental). IMPORTANT: it is recommended that children follow
the ESF(French Ski School) classification system: Beginner: Snowflake, up to Two
Stars. Intermediate: Three Stars. Advanced: Arrow. A minimum of information, concerning
the childs height and ability, is required. Boots:
The selection of shoe size follow the same criteria as that applied to adults.
Children who take a shoe size above 35 move into the lowest adult rate category.
